About Emanuel Furniture

Tony Emanuel is a professional craftsman living and working in Queenstown, New Zealand.

From his workshop in Queenstown, Tony creates one of a kind and individually made to order furniture pieces. Although items are all fully functional furniture, there is an emphasis on the artisan flavour that makes all pieces visually satisfying.

The ability to design and build has been honed over 30 years as a professional cabinetmaker.

Tutoring from numerous leading joinery employers has given Tony a well rounded and knowledgeable trade base.

His passion has really developed over the years he has been self employed – discovering the personal fulfilment of making bespoke furniture and joinery. Having often taken on work regarded as too difficult by others, Tony has willingly put himself in a position of having to solve and deliver the customer’s design brief despite technical difficulties.

All individually handmade, some items are available for reproduction whereas others are one-off, never to be repeated items.

All furniture sits and works well as a freestanding showpiece.
